Member Benefits
Some Medi-Cal rules are changing. Starting January 1, 2027, some people will need to work, go to school, or help in their community to stay covered. Some people do not have to do this, including people who are sick, pregnant, or caring for young children.
Medi-Cal renewal now happens two times a year for many adults, instead of once. This means you’ll need to update your income and household information every 6 months to keep your coverage.
Check what you need to do now at BenefitsCal.com or call your County Social Services office.
Help is available — you don’t have to figure this out alone.
